snow!

Its almost December….whoa! I can’t believe it!

Yesterday was cool, because it snowed! It was nice to see little white snowflakes on the ground!!

I passed my bronze med swimming exam…it was a pretty good exam…my spinal rollovers went pretty well, so that was good! I’ll going to take bronze cross and standard first aid this winter, so hopefully I can get a job in the summer! hehe

Tomorrow’s youth….I’m looking forward to it! and on Sunday we’re having a mission trip reunion….that should be lots of fun too!

Today I got toe socks! I’ve never had them before, so I am quite proud of myself! *laughs*

Me and mom went out for the afternoon, it was lots of fun! We found this little Chinese restaurant that we had never seen before…it was very small, but the food was really good and it wasn’t that expensive! Then we went shopping, and I got Christmas presents for all my friends (I’m all prepared for Christmas already! lol) and we got groceries!

Wow speaking of Christmas, its almost here! I can’t believe it! I feel like this whole year has gone by so fast, yet I’ve been able to do so many amazing things! God is very cool!

Dare you to move...

It seems like so often, God challenges me to come closer to him... whenever i hear this song by switchfoot, I feel like there's this stirring in my heart from God...Like he's hes daring me to go deeper into him, into his presence...Challenging me to become closer to him, to get to know him more, to spend more time with him...

It amazes me how whenever i seem to not spend a lot of time with him one week, he brings a song to mind or a phrase to mind that makes me think how much i want to get to know him more and how he wants to be my best friend (as chessey as that might sound)

life seems so busy

Last Thursday, me and Miranda went to this new mall close to our house…it was really cool! Its huge!! and there was so many people there because it was the opening day…it took us around half and hour to actually find a parking spot (pretty crazy)…..well anyways, Darcy tucker (Toronto maple leaf) and Gary Beal’s (runner up in Canadian Idol) were signing autographs….but they weren’t there when I walk past their booth…hmm….but me and Miranda had lots of fun!! …we both bought the same belt…and I got a pair of earrings….

We actually noticed how nice all the workers were in the stores….they were all helpful…usually they just point to whatever you’re looking for…but today…they actually showed us and help us pick the right sizes and everything….crazy !

On Saturday and Sunday I had a lifeguarding course I went too….it was pretty interesting…we went though adult and child rescue breathing, CPR, and obstructed airway steps…it got really confusing at first…..but once I took notes, it all seemed a little clearer :) We also had to do this endurance swim…which I passed the first time! so I don’t’ have to do it again! *yay* We were also doing submerged water victims and water spinal rollovers….

I got to look at more pictures from the mission trip I went on over the summer (someone mailed a disk full of them for us)…the pics brought back lots of fun memories!

So now its Monday night, am I am sitting by the computer bored…thinking or what to do!!! Or well more like thinking or what school work I should do tomorrow…and when I should to my lifeguarding homework! laughs…

I’ve returned to the blogging world!!

Wow! What a busy weekend! On Saturday, there was both the Harvest Party and Zeo Party!!

I arrived at church around 12 pm on Saturday afternoon. I helped mom finish setting stuff up for the Harvest Party, and then me and Anna Barber worked together at the volunteer table! It was lots of fun workign with her!! After that I helped run some games, fetch water for all the volunteers (with the help of Kimiko)! Some of the kids from Kid’s Church did a God Rod’s dance, which was really well done!

The Zeo party was pretty cool! JPuddy did a great job mixing for us! The smoke machine was hilarious, me and Kimiko were running away from it every time someone pressed the botton to release more smokey stuff…lol it smelled so bad!

Sunday, my family stayed home from church, we were too tired from seting up and putting stuff away! laughs…. I heard that the soaking Sunday was good, though!

Today was a pretty good day, I did lots of school work!

I’m sort of happy, the election in the states are almost done, because it seems like that’s all I’ve been hearing about! Hopefully though, the right man for the job will win!
